The P5+1 group tries to reach a deal with Tehran guaranteeing a peaceful nature of the Iranian nuclear program.

On April 2, Iran and the P5+1 group worked out the political framework agreement on the Iranian nuclear program in the Swiss city of Lausanne. Under the deal, Tehran pledged to cut back its uranium enrichment and decrease the number of centrifuges in the country, in exchange for gradual lifting of international sanctions.

The deadline for the final deal on the Iran’s nuclear program is set for July 1, 2015.
