LAUSANNE (Sputnik) — P5+1 mediators and Iran are likely to hold talks at the level of foreign ministers in Lausanne on March 29, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi told Sputnik news agency on Friday.

"I am not sure. Maybe Sunday. We are not there yet," Araqchi, who is Tehran's top nuclear negotiator, said.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told reporters in Lausanne earlier on Friday that a comprehensive nuclear agreement is possible if the sides apply strong political acumen.

"If there is a political will to choose between pressure or an agreement, then we can make an agreement. We still have some work to do. And we are working very hard to strike an agreement," Zarif said.
