VIENNA, November 23 (Sputnik) — A bilateral meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry has started in Vienna as part of the final round of the P5+1 talks on Iran's nuclear program, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported late Sunday.
This is Lavrov's second meeting today. He earlier held a meeting with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Following the meeting with Kerry, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry is to hold a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
Earlier on Sunday, Lavrov arrived in Vienna to take part in the talks between the P5+1 group and Tehran on the Iranian nuclear program.
The final round of Tehran's talks with the P5+1 group, comprising Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China, and Germany, kicked off in Vienna on Tuesday.
