MINSK, September 5 (RIA Novosti) – Kiev sees no obstacles for signing a ceasefire agreement in eastern Ukraine, ex-President Leonid Kuchma, Ukrainian representative in the contact group talks on settling the conflict in the country, said Friday.
“We came for peace, so that there is hope that if not tomorrow, then the day after military actions will stop, that people will stop killing each other,” Kuchma said.
“From the Ukrainian side there are no obstacles and if other parties are in the same position, then a document on an immediate ceasefire will be signed,” Kuchma continued.
