Gharb Soheil is a village in the upper Egyptian province of Aswan that is famous for its unusual pets, as people there prefer to live side by side with crocodiles. Numerous tourists come to the site to watch the marvelous creatures, which were revered in the country several thousand years ago, and are still popular - maybe, not as a part of a cult, but definitely as a part of culture!
