An injured demonstrator is detained by members of the security forces during a protest against Chile's government in Santiago.

Last seven days were full of important events and massive incidents that occurred across the globe. Check out Sputnik's gallery to see the most colourful news you could have missed this week.

The week was marked by mass protests that continued to shake Chile, Lebanon, Iraq, and Hong Kong, with numerous clashes between the protestors and police forces.

At the same time, Mexico celebrated the Day of the Dead (Dia de Los Muertos) with a traditional carnival, while Russia held a ceremony to commemorate the WWII parade, which took place in Moscow on 7 November 1941.

The week also brought us a lot of fashion and sports news - and a lot of insane photos as well.
