Queens of the Sand on Display at Beach Handball World Championships

Sixteen women's teams competing for the World Cup on the white sand in bikinis could probably be the best entertainment of the summer.

The 2018 Beach Handball World Championship took place in Kazan, Russia from July 24-29, 2018.

Greece became the new world champion in women's beach handball for the very first time by defeating Norway in the final on July 29 and signifying a turning point for the sport in Greece.
