    The Peter the Great Statue, located at the western confluence of the Moskva River and the Vodootvodny Canal in central Moscow. The 98-meter-high monument was designed by the Georgian sculptor and architect Zurab Tsereteli and erected in 1997 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Russian Navy established by Emperor of All Russia Peter the Great.
