Horse breeding has a long history in Crimea. A hundred years ago, the equestrian sport or the so-called sport of aristocrats, was more popular in Crimea than football. However, in the second half of the 20th century, horse breeding had been practically forgotten on the peninsula. Now it seems that the culture is being revived again.
