    The ceremonies performed by the Presidential Regiment are based on centuries-old Russian martial traditions, some of which date back to the reign of Peter the Great.

    The last changing the guard ceremony of 2016 was carried out by infantry and cavalry details of the the Presidential Regiment on Saturday, October 15 on Cathedral Square of the Moscow Kremlin.
