French photographer Laurent Kronental captures on camera the poetry of aging environments of Paris suburbs, built after the Second World War, often framing the cracking concrete with the elderly residents who now inhabit the post-modern environment.

In his series “Souvenir d’un Futur” (Memory of a Future), the modernist concrete landscapes are made to seem impossibly huge and virtually abandoned, like something out of a dystopian fantasy.
