Cutting-edge weapons and military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces will be shown off to visitors and guests of the Army-2015 international military forum.

Cutting-edge weapons and military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces will be shown off to visitors and guests of the Army-2015 international military forum. The event will be held by the Russian Defense Ministry on June 16-19, 2015 at the Kubinka airfield and Patriot Park in Moscow Region. As part of preparations for the forum, a demonstration of Russian weaponry and military equipment was held in Moscow Region.

It is part of Russia’s Typhoon program which started in 2010. The vehicle was built on an original 6x6 chassis. Its armor was designed in accordance with NATO classification STANAG 4569 of level 3b. This means the vehicle can withstand explosive mines.

The KamAZ-63968 Typhoon-K is a Russian multifunctional armored mine-resistant ambush protected (MRAP) personnel carrier. It is part of Russia’s Typhoon program which started in 2010. The vehicle was built on an original 6x6 chassis. Its armor was designed in accordance with NATO classification STANAG 4569 of level 3b. This means the vehicle can withstand explosive mines.

It was designed for supporting infantry, destroying enemy tanks and defeating enemy personnel in fortifications, in open country, and in lightly armored vehicles and transport.

The TOS-1A Solntsepek is a multiple rocket launcher and thermobaric weapon mounted on a modernized T-72A tank chassis. It was designed for supporting infantry, destroying enemy tanks and defeating enemy personnel in fortifications, in open country, and in lightly armored vehicles and transport.

The Pantsir-S1 was designed to protect civilian and military facilities from all kinds of aerial threats. The 2S19 Msta-S is a self-propelled 152 mm division howitzer based on the T-80 tank hull. It was designed for destroying tactical nuclear weapons, artillery guns, enemy armored vehicles, fortifications and personnel. It entered service in the Russian Armed Forces in 1989.
