Sixty-five years ago, on May 13, 1950, the first race of the first Formula One championship was held in Silverstone, Britain. Every year since then, F-1 races have attracted millions of visitors and viewers from around the world. And it is not just the pilots’ skills and the reckless speed.

There are strict criteria for those who want to be a grid girl. For the Russian Grand Prix of the 2014 F1 World Championship, only 50 girls out of 150 pretenders were chosen. The girls had to be "model-looking and have the 92-62-92 body shape". They were between the ages of 18 and 25.
