Performances by aerobatics teams are the feature of most public airshows. Sputnik presents you a picture gallery of some of the world’s most renowned teams and their breathtaking maneuvers.

Aerobatics is the practice of flying maneuvers with attitudes not used in normal flight. Aerobatic maneuvers are usually performed in airplanes, but also gliders and even helicopters can be used. The development of the aircraft started in 1991, and in 2009 it entered service with the Russian Air Force. As a training aircraft, the Yak-130 is able to replicate characteristics of some 4th generation fighters.

The Yakovlev Yak-130 is a Russian subsonic two-seat jet trainer/light fighter. The development of the aircraft started in 1991, and in 2009 it entered service with the Russian Air Force. As a training aircraft, the Yak-130 is able to replicate characteristics of some 4th generation fighters.
