An exhibition of classic cars opened in Saint-Petersburg on November 29-30. The event was organized as part of the Motion project with support of the Moscow Museum of Classic Cars and collectors. Visitors will have the opportunity to look at unique American and European classic cars as well as Soviet antiques.

The display includes a wide range of American, Europeans and Soviet antique vehicles.

Among the showpieces are Mercedes, Bentley, Ford, Lincoln, Chevrolet, GAZ, Pobeda, Moskvich etc.

Each of the vehicles is a living legend. Getting behind the wheel, a visitor can travel 20 or 50 years in to the past.

All the cars are in perfect technical condition, according to the organizers.

Moreover, some of the displayed vehicles regularly take part in motor rallies and historic reenactments.

The Soviet car industry is represented at the exhibit, in particular, with vehicles produced by Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ).

"Every three months during a year, our exhibition will be updated, so each exhibit will give our visitors a perfect chance to look at new showpieces," organizers said.

Organizers prepared a few special entertainment programs for kids and adult visitors at the exhibition opening.

The exhibition started with the symbolic admission of children who were dressed like Societ Pioneers.

During the exhibition opening, adult visitors could take in the memories of the past, including tasting a few "house specialties" of Soviet diners.
