YUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, April 24 (RIA Novosti) - Policemen seized a big lot of heroin in Vanino port (the Khabarovsk territory, Russia's Far East), the interior transport affairs department of the Sakhalin region told RIA Novosti on Saturday.
When passengers were boarding Vanino-Kholmsk ferry, policemen noticed a 40-year old woman, whose behavior was suspicious. She was a resident of the Khabarovsk territory heading for Sakhalin. Over 785 grams of heroin were discovered with her.
Criminal proceedings were initiated. Police is searching for drug trafficking channels.
