MOSCOW, April 23 (RIA Novosti) - President Vladimir Putin expects Russo-Spanish partnership to make further progress, he says in a congratulatory message to Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero on the latter's prime-ministerial inauguration.
The President highlights long-established Russian-Spanish friendship, and mutual respect and sympathy. He relies on further dynamic development of bilateral partnership in all fields-commercial, economic, technological and humanitarian.
Mr. Putin pointed out great opportunities for closer teamwork on the international scene. Only pooled efforts can repulse the dangers of terrorism, mass destruction weapon proliferation, and regional conflicts. That is his profound conviction.
Bilateral ties will remain close, hearty and constructive, Russia's President is sure.
