ROSTOV-ON-DON, April 14 (RIA Novosti's Sophia Brykanova) - The LUKoil company, jointly with the Rosneft, has started developing the shelf deposits in the Sea of Azov.
President of the LUKoil public company Vagit Alekperov told reporters at a news conference that geological exploration had already stared in the Sea of Azov, geophysicists are working there.
"After their work, we shall determine the places for geological drilling," he said.
The development of this deposit begins the development of the Russian part of the Azov shelf. Similar work has been going on for a long time now in the territory of Ukraine.
