MOSCOW, 14 April (RIA Novosti) - Vladimir Putin has praised the work of co-chairmen of the Russo-Japanese Council of Wise Men, Yuri Luzhkov and Yoshiro Mori.
While meeting the co-chairmen today, he said that Russia was represented by Yuri Luzhkov, who was not only an excellent mayor of one of Russia's biggest regions, but also a person he respected as a national politician.
According to Mr. Putin, Yoshiro Mori, the Japanese co-chairman, is not only well known for being a former Japanese premier, but also as a figure, who maintains and develops close traditions in the development of relations with Russia.
