According to the Al-Jazeera information, staffers of the Interenergoservis company were captured in Iraq.
According to the information of the Iraqi interim coalition administration, Interenergoservis is one of the Russian repair companies which operate in Iraq and service the power plants built by Soviet specialists.
In particular, Interenergoservis concluded its latest contract with the Energy Ministry of Iraq on March 10. It provides for reconstruction of the Al-Mussaib thermal power plant.
On March 7 the company signed an agreement on supplying power-generating units for the Nasiria hydroelectric station.
Furthermore, a contract for rehabilitating the South Baghdad thermal power plant was concluded on March 1, and the very first contract for rehabilitating the Dara thermal power plant was signed on January 20.
