"At present the case was handed over for investigation to the Federal Security Service. As far as we know, by this moment nobody has been detained, but there are suspects the information about whom is not disclosed in the interests of the investigation," Tomova said.

In the morning of Tuesday, April 6, in the Tsoloyev Street in Nazran (Ingushetia) a suicide-bomber who was driving a Zhiguli car set in motion an explosive device when a three-car special convoy of the President of Ingushetia was passing by.

As a result of the explosion, which was equivalent to 50 kg of trotyl, five officers from the department of state power security under the Interior Ministry of Ingushetia, who accompanied the Ingush president, as well as a secondary school pupil and a local female resident were taken to the hospital. The explosion also damaged the convoy's cars and several residential houses.
