"The attack was made in the city's Oktyabrsky district on Thursday. Militants fired at an UAZ cross-country motor vehicle with staffers of the Grozny Interior department with grenade-launchers and submachine-guns," the source said.
According to him, three policemen were wounded as a result of the exchange of fire that took place. The staffers of the Oktyabrsky district department of the Interior, who were staying near, helped the policemen in the motor vehicle. One of them was also wounded in the course of the fight. The attackers escaped.
The wounded policemen are now staying in a hospital. A search for the criminals is under way, and the Interior Ministry officials do not rule out that some of them may be wounded, too.
