MOSCOW, April 8 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Minister of Finance Alexei Kudrin told journalists on Thursday that the government had approved a legislative package on taxation reform.
The key documents contain amendments to the Russian Tax Code on reducing the single social tax and correcting the formula for the imposition of taxes on the extraction of raw materials. They also feature amendments to the law on customs tariffs changing the scale of export duties on oil.
The package also contains amendments on correcting profit tax and the indexation of excise duties, as well as legislative amendments to ensure that relations between Russia and Belarus are on a "country of destination" footing with regard to VAT payments from 2005.
