GROZNY, April 6, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - In Chechnya, law enforcement officers discovered a repeater that militants used to broadcast their speeches on television, reported the temporary press center of the Interior Ministry in the North Caucasus.
"During a special operation a resident of the Gudermes district was detained, who used a Funai VCR as a repeater," a representative of the press center said.
According to him, it was established that militants edged themselves into local television broadcasts and translated their speeches with the help of this device.
