CHISINAU, April 2, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - A roundtable, Structure and Dynamics of Single Information Field of Moldova and Transdniestria. Ways and Methods of Formation Based on Common Idea, will be held in Tiraspol (the administrative centre of the self-proclaimed Transdniestrian republic of Moldova) on April 8.
According to organisers of the event, reporters, political scientists and members of NGOs will discuss the formation of a joint media holding to bridge the information gap that has been dividing the republic's population for over a decade now.
Participating in the roundtable will be the interregional council for the national strategy of the Russian Federation, the Transdniestrian non-governmental public bloc Open Channel and the civil forum of Moldova.
The project is financed by the Germany-based Friedriech Ebert Foundation.
