STAVROPOL, April 2, 2004. (RIA Novosti) -- A regional anti-terrorist and anti-extremist program will be worked out in Russia's Southern Federal District.
This decision was taken on Friday in Stavropol at an inter-departmental session of the executive bodies, law enforcement agencies and prosecutor's office of the Southern Federal District, the press service of the internal affairs main department of the Stavropol territory told RIA Novosti. The session was held on the initiative of the operative staff for the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus.
Heads of security councils and anti-terrorist commissions of the Southern Federal District's entities and representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry took part in the session.
