MOSCOW, April 2, 2004. (RIA Novosti) -- The Russian border guards, serving on the Tajik-Afghani border, discovered a large arms-cache. As Russia's FSB officials said on Friday, the cache contained 15 mines, 107 grenades of different types, 65 rounds for an underbarrel grenade-launcher, and 27 shells for an antiaircraft system.

The cache was found in the zone of responsibility of the Russian border-guard detachment headquartered at Khorog town.

The munitions were taken to the detachment's headquarters and destroyed there.
