"We have all grounds to think that the question will be settled at tomorrow's sitting of the Russia-NATO Council. We want obligations from these countries and every member of the expanding North Atlantic Treaty Organisation that we will eventually reach the situation when the treaty is ratified by all", Lavrov said.
To him, Moscow hopes that with time also non-NATO member countries will be guided by the clauses of this document.
"Nobody doubts that. The question is how a decision will be formulated", said Sergei Lavrov. It can be formulated as a joint statement or an exchange of corresponding letters, he said.
"Nobody rejects the gist of the matter. How and in what way will be discussed tomorrow", Lavrov added.
