MOSCOW TO HOST 10TH SESSION OF RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN COOPERATION COMMISSION IN SUMMER

MOSCOW, April 1, 2004. (RIA Novosti). Moscow will host the 10th session of the Russian-Ukrainian mixed cooperation commission in late June - early July.

The relevant agreement was achieved at the first working meeting of Russian and Ukrainian Prime Ministers Mikhail Fradkov and Viktor Yanukovich, currently on a one-day routine visit to Moscow.

Vital bilateral issues, including the development of trade and economic relations, the formation of Common Economic Space of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, practical projects of investment cooperation in main economic branches, and humanitarian interaction, will be on the agenda of the 10th session of the commission, Russian Prime Minister's press secretary Alexander Zharov told journalists.

Meetings of 13 sub-commissions will be held before the session.

According to Mr. Zharov, the Russian and Ukrainian Prime Ministers discussed a wide range of trade and economic issues, in particular, in fuel and energy sphere.
