The upcoming package will include eight fiscal bills and numerous amendments to the acting pensioning and social legislation, added the Vice-Premier.
In particular, the government deems it necessary to reduce basic rates of flat social taxation to 26 per cent from its current 35.6. Mr. Zhukov regards that one as central initiative on the fiscal reform.
Cabinet pension reform proposals promise sizeable pension rises to persons presently employed. People now on pension will also have considerable rises in exchange for privileges, to which not all are entitled now, he added.
Today's was a second Cabinet conference with the Duma team. "We offered MPs detailed explanations of tentative legislative changes, and we were delighted to see them approved by a parliamentary majority," said the Vice-Premier.
