MOSCOW, MARCH 31. /RIA NOVOSTI / -- Reorganisation of the Nuclear Power Ministry will pass "neatly", Alexander Rumyantsev, head of the Federal Nuclear Energy Agency, has said to journalists in Moscow.

"We will handle the reorganisation thoroughly. It may take about two months. We may have to discharge 100 officials and build up the managerial blocks of enterprises in a new way", he said.

The head of Nuclear Energy Agency noted that the reform has, so far, concerned only the central apparatus.

"Production is going on as before", he noted.

Rumyantsev voiced apprehensions as regards the prospect of the ministerial reform.

"I'm very cautious about the prospect because it is not clear yet how the reform will continue", he said. "I'm only sure that we have all the tools for the further dynamic development of the agency (the Federal Nuclear Energy Agency)".
