The Premier also noted that work on the distribution and specification of functions of the ministries and departments will be over soon. "We are discussing a number of laws now," he said and reminded the President that Vice-Premier Alexander Zhikov had reported this the day before.
Tomorrow "we will hold a cabinet session to discuss the Forestry Code and the Water Code is next on the agenda," said Mr. Fradkov. The cabinet is also discussing amendments to the tax legislation.
