RUSSIAN PREMIER AND FOREIGN MINISTER CONDOLE WITH SPAIN

MOSCOW, March 16, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov have left their signatures in the book of condolences over the victims of the March 11 terrorist attacks in Madrid.

According to the Spanish embassy in Moscow, they visited the embassy on Tuesday morning and left their signatures in the book of condolences.

On Wednesday, March 17, a mass will be held in the Church of Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary in Moscow in the memory of the victims of the Madrid terrorist attacks.

The explosions of March 11 took the lives of 200 people, and wounded about 1,500.
