BERLIN, March 15, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder congratulated Vladimir Putin on his victory in the presidential elections on Monday.
"The voting results show Russian people's great confidence in you," Schroeder stressed. His message begins with the words, "Dear Mr. President, dear Vladimir".
The German chancellor wished Vladimir Putin "good luck and success during his second presidential term." I will be happy to continue our close cooperation during my next visit to Moscow, Gerhard Schroeder stressed.
