    SECUITY COUNCIL SECRETARY SIGNS BOOK OF CONDOLENCES AT SPANISH EMBASSY

    MOSCOW, March 15, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Russian Security Council Secretary Igor Ivanov visited the Spanish Embassy on Monday.

    Mr. Ivanov observed one minute of silence to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks in Madrid on March 11, the Spanish Embassy reported.

    Mr. Ivanov offered his condolences to Spanish Ambassador Jose Maria Robles and signed the book of condolences. Visitors to the embassy can sign the book 10:00 a.m.-5 p.m.

    On Wednesday afternoon, the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary on Malaya Gruzinskaya Street in Moscow will host a mass for the victims.

    On March 11, terrorist attacks in Madrid killed 200 people.
