MOSCOW, March 15, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Vladimir Putin has urged the government to adopt important and sensible decisions.
"We should adopt crucial, and not popular decisions," he said at his meeting with the key ministers of the cabinet on Monday, recalling the well-known phrase about the need for unpopular decisions.
Mr. Putin believes that the government should take "clear, comprehensible, substantiated and balanced decisions" both in the housing and communal spheres and in health care, education and others.
