MOST RUSSIANS LIVING IN AMERICA VOTE FOR PUTIN

NEW YORK, March 15 (RIA Novosti) - 66.2 percent of Russians voted for incumbent Russian President Vladimir Putin in New York, Boston and Philadelphia.

Executive secretary of district election commission No. 5232, Artem Barkov told RIA Novosti that, according to preliminary data, Irina Khakamada took second place with 22.2% of the votes. Sergei Glazyev took third place with 4.5%. They are followed by Nikolai Kharitonov, 2%, Sergei Mironov, 0.3%, and Oleg Malyshkin, 0.25%. 3.6% of the electorate voted against all.

2,050 Russians came to the polling stations organized in New York's districts Manhattan, Brooklyn and Bronx, in Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, and in the Sholom Aleikhem cultural center in Philadelphia. In Mr. Barkov's words, this is 200 people fewer than at the State Duma elections last December.
