MOSCOW, MARCH 14, RIA NOVOSTI - The Russian military contingent in Adzharia is neutral as ordered, the Russian Embassy in Georgia reassures in a statement.
Soldiers have been ordered not to interfere in Georgian domestic affairs and take up arms only against attempts of unauthorised penetration of the Batumi base; or weapon and machine seizure.
Adzhar tensions have made the base command reinforce Russian military project guard and otherwise enhance safety, the statement goes on.
Military technologies are leaving the base, Georgian media outlets say ominously. Ambassadorial PR firmly deny the allegations.
