MOSCOW, March 14 (RIA Novosti). As of 10:00 a.m. Moscow time, the average turnout for Russia was 11.5%, CEC chairman Alexander Veshnyakov told journalists citing information from about 95% of electoral districts. "This is 4.5% more than at the same period of the parliamentary elections."
According to Veshnyakov, the trend of higher activity of the voters registered in the Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts is being confirmed by turnout results in European Russia.
