"The three of us, Kharitonov, Khakamada and Glazyev, can actually cover the country and we can check the course of the elections every where," Marina Litvinovich, the head of Ms. Khakamada's staff, said. According to representatives of the staffs, observers will be at the majority of polling districts (except in remote areas) on the day of the elections.
The head of Kharitonov's staff was not present at the press conference in RIA Novosti, however, the secretary of the KPRF (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) Moscow committee, Alexey Rogozin, told journalists that the KPRF was also participating in the collective supervision.
"We are participating tactically," he said. "We united [Glazyev and Khakamada's staffs] around the plan," Mr. Rogozin said.
