MOSCOW, March 12, 2004. (RIA Novosti) -- The session of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) at the Vice Prime Ministerial level will be held in Moscow on Friday. The Moscow office of the CIS Executive Committee told RIA Novosti that the participants in the 19th session would discuss proposals on the stage-by-stage removal of restrictions in the mutual trade of CIS member states, and cooperation in the anti-trust policy sphere. They will also consider the draft documents for the creation of resources reserves and their efficient use for the stable parallel work of the CIS countries' energy systems and for coordination of activity in the hard currency sphere.
The participants in the session will also discuss the draft decision of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government on the results of fulfilling the financial obligations of the CIS member countries related to the creation and development of the united system of the CIS states' anti-aircraft defence in 2002 and to payment of debts on contributions.
The agenda of the session also includes the issue of financial-economic support and the concept of the development of the inter-state Mir TV and radio company.
