CEC chairman Alexander Veshnyakov and the commission members will familiarise the reporters with the procedure of the Centre's activity. The Information Centre will open its doors for the mass media in the morning of March 14.
The technical possibilities of the Centre, which make it possible to contact any Russian region, will also be demonstrated. The reporters will have a chance to see how the Elections State Automated System is functioning.
Alexander Veshnyakov will acquaint the media representatives with some technical novelties, which enable to make more transparent the procedure of summing up the results of the voting.
As many as 1,300 media representatives, including filming crews of 103 Russian and foreign television companies, have already been accredited at the Information Centre.
