MOSCOW, March 10, 2004. (RIA Novosti). The appointment of the new Russian ambassador to the UN has not been discussed yet, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Yuri Fedotov told RIA Novosti.
Yesterday a source in the Russian mission in the UN said that Yuri Fedotov would be appointed to this post.
