FRADKOV APPOINTS ACTING HEAD OF HIS SECRETARIAT MIKHAIL SINELIN

MOSCOW, March 9, 2004. (RIA Novosti) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov has appointed acting head of his secretariat Mikhail Sinelin. RIA Novosti was told about it in the Government Information Department on Tuesday.

Presently, Mikhail Sinelin is first deputy head of the Russian government apparatus.

Mikhail Sinelin was born on November 24, 1959 in the town of Reutovo, Moscow Region.

In 1983 he graduated from the economic department of the Lomonosov Moscow State University in the profession of economist-cybernetist.

1983-1985 - economist in the main computer centre of the USSR State Planning Committee.

1986-1989 - secretary of the Komsomol organisation in the USSR State Planning Committee.

1989-1991 - expert of the sub-department of a department in the USSR State Planning Committee, aide to the deputy chairman of the USSR State Planning Committee.

1991-1991 - aid to the first deputy Minister of the Economy and Forecasting of the USSR.

1991-1992- aide to the first deputy chairman of the Committee of Foreign Economic Relations of the Russian Federation.

1992-1993 - aide to the first deputy Minister, head of the secretariat, administrative manager of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of the Russian Federation.

1994-1998 - head of the apparatus of the State Duma committee for economic policy.

1998-1999 - head of the secretariat of the first deputy chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Yury Maslyuklov.

1999-2000 - deputy head of the secretariat of the first vice premier Viktor Khristenko.

2000-2000 - deputy head of the secretariat of the first vice premier - Finance Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Kasyanov.

2003 - head of Kasyanov's secretariat.

From June 30, 2003 - first deputy head of the apparatus of the Russian government.
