    AT ELECTIONS TO EUROPARLIAMENT MAJORITY OF ESTONIAN CITIZENS WILL VOTE FOR CENTRIST PARTY

    TALLINN, March 9 (RIA Novosti) - Approximately half of Estonia's voters intend to take part in the elections of deputies to the European Parliament which are due to be held on June 13. Most of them are going to back up the Estonian Center party.

    According to the forecasts of the research center Faktum published on Monday by the newspaper Postimees, the voters are ready to give the greatest number of votes to the opposition Center party - 18 %, the ruling Reform party - 15% and the Res Publica party - 14%. The People's Union party has 8% of supporters, the Social-Democratic party - 8% and the Fatherland Union - 7%.

    The sociologists pointed out that the Estonians are more ready to support at the elections to the European Parliament representatives of the Reform party -17%, the Res Publica party - 16% and the Center party - 15%.

    At the same time, the Russian speaking citizens of Estonia are ready to give preference to the Center party - 39 %, with the Reform party occupying the second line - 6 %, then comes the Res Publica party - 5%, the People's Union and Social-Democrats - 2% each, and the Fatherland Union - 1% .

    Estonia is to elect 6 deputies to the European Parliament.
