"We are still an excellent loving couple," Ms. Kournikova told News of the World, dispelling the rumors that she had parted with Iglesias Jr. "He is a nice guy and a great singer," the 22 year old 'Russian beauty' added.
Meanwhile, it is still unclear whether Kournikova and Iglesias got married in late May 2003 or it was just a PR action.
Ms. Kournikova also said she was still seriously thinking about the continuation of her tennis career, despite the fact that she missed the last tournaments.
She said she intended to concentrate on preparation for the summer competitions, first of all, Wimbledon. "My aim is to be fit in full and to start winning important matches again," the sportswoman said.
Besides, in Ms. Kournikova's words, she keeps considering proposals to act in movies. "I was offered a part in a James Bond movie, but I had to refuse due to my sports commitments," she said adding that she wouldn't mind acting as the woman of the famous agent 007 after her sports career was over.
