MOSCOW, March 5, 2004 (RIA Novosti correspondent) - Election bulletins will not have to be changed in view of Sergei Glazyev's dismissal from the post of the Motherland leader [Motherland - parliamentary faction], said Central Election Commission Chairman Alexander Veshnyakov.
Glazyev who is running for president at the forthcoming March 14 elections, has been dismissed from the post of the Motherland faction leader.
"In the bulletin, he is identified as a Duma deputy," added Veshnyakov.
Nonetheless, he specified that the media had reported about the situation inside the Motherland faction.
"Voters understand everything only too well, and have seen the changes that took place," noted Veshnyakov. In this connection, he expressed the opinion that such a situation inside the faction would "not mislead anyone during the vote."
