PARIS, MARCH 5. /RIA NOVOSTI / -- Russian acting Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov sees good prospects for transport aircraft-building cooperation between Russia and France.
At the press conference in Paris after a regular sitting of the Russian-French security council, Sergei Ivanov said that there are good prospects in the development of cooperation in the fields of pilotless planes and space exploration, also as regards the military aspect.
Sergei Ivanov recalled that he had recently handed in to the French defence minister the Russian Air Force certificate on the completion of trials of the Mig-AT trainer. Sergei Ivanov stressed that military-technical cooperation between Russia and France holds a crucial importance.
