MOSCOW, March 5, 2004 (RIA Novosti correspondent) - Russians living abroad will continue to be provided with Russian citizenship with no complications whatsoever, newly elected Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov said to Duma deputies on Friday.
"Considering the economic growth and the demographic situation, citizenship will be granted to our compatriots in a facilitated mode," said Mr. Fradkov.
He also spoke for "taking the most effective measures to support Russians living in other countries, above all in the former Soviet republics."
