MOSCOW, March 5, 2004 (RIA Novosti) - The anti-corruption effort will be carried on, Mikhail Fradkov, candidate for Russian Prime Minister, said at the State Duma (parliament's lower house) on Friday.

"The anti-corruption effort will be carried on. There are relative instructions and possibilities for that," said Mr Fradkov.

Mr Fradkov said anti-corruption measures would be part of the administrative reform, the reform of government bodies and the effort to streamline economic procedures through a "one window" approach.

"We will focus on these issues while ensuring an anti-corruption approach to carrying out reforms," said Mr Fradkov.
